With age, it may be that the unsightly lines across the forehead are becoming  a lot more prominent and obvious. A brow lift or eyebrow lift surgery may be the answer providing not only a younger, more natural appearance but also a boost in self confidence and esteem. 

With any kind of cosmetic surgery it is important to discuss the procedure with your consultant prior to any procedure. Although the preferred outcome of surgery may seem very appealing it requires careful consideration before coming to a decision. 

The operation will involve a small cut being made from ear to ear just behind the hairline so as the scarring is not visible. Excess fatty tissue will be removed and the skin tightened around the area before the cut is closed with stitching before being bandaged. 

The operation will require a general anaesthetic and therefore we advise that you stay for one night in the hospital. A full week off work is necessary and strenuous activity should be avoided for another couple of weeks after that. 

Our consultants will discuss with you exactly what can and cant be done in the days and weeks following the surgery. 

If you are paying for your own treatment all costs will be discussed and explained prior to any treatment taking place. This will be confirmed in writing along with any surgeon fees, anaesthetist fees and hospital charges prior to admission.
