Vascular surgery is the area of medicine that deals with any conditions affecting the vascular system which would include diseases of arteries, lymphatic vessels and veins.

Surgery is often not required once you have had your first consultation. Our consultants will discuss with you lifestyle changes, weight managament and exercise coupled with advice on how to reduce your future risk of heart disease or strokes. Smoking is another major cause for concern when it comes to vascular disease. 

There are however occasions when surgery is inevitable and our consultants will advise on your options with disorders such as varicose veins, lympthatic dosorders, vascular malformations and hyperhidrosis amongst many others.
