Mr Milind Shrotri

Mr. Milind Shrotri is the lead Upper GI Surgeon in Aintree University Hospital. He has been a Consultant Surgeon at Aintree since 2004 and is the leading minimal access/laparoscopic surgeon in the North-West & Merseyside region over the last many years.

His specialist practice is laparoscopic surgery in Upper Gastro-Intestinal & General Surgery. Specifically he has specialist interest in laparoscopic biliary surgery (cholecystectomy) and hiatal surgery (anti-reflux surgery & hiatus/diaphragmatic hernia repair). He has extensive experience in revisional complex benign surgery and laparoscopic surgery for gastric and oesophageal cancer. 

He has considerable teaching experience and is on faculty for several surgical teaching courses, along with being an examiner for the MRCS course. He has research interests, with a special focus on clinical interventional work in complex upper Gastro-intestinal benign and cancer cases.
