Health Assessments

An Occupational Health Assessment is a medical examination performed by an Occupational Health Professional to ascertain the state of an employee's health and well being. 

This type of assessment is usually requested by the employer and will aim to answer any questions raised. 

The assessment is designed to not only advise on the health of the employee but to make recommendations to any changes that could be made to provide the employee with a safe and healthy working environment.

Each individual case is different and there could be certain underlying reasons behind the health issue that have not been addressed. Each report is tailored to the individual and can include the following:

• current health
• recommendations
• reasons for ill health
• return to work time
• likelihood of recovery

 The report will be an in depth medical opinion which will inform the management of the company of all aspects and will give them sufficient knowledge to be able to react accordingly. Any future decisions on the employee may be made from the consultant's report.
