The liver is the largest solid organ in the body and serves the body in cleaning the blood and providing other metabolic functions. 

At the Sefton Suite our consultants are highly trained and efficient in all forms of liver disease such as viral hepatitis, hepatitis B, alcohol based liver disease, non alcohol based liver disease amongst many others. 

The liver performs many essential functions related to digestion, metabolism, immunity, and the storage of nutrients within the body. These functions make the liver a vital organ without which the tissues of the body would quickly die from lack of energy and nutrients.
