Neck Lift

Unfortunately one of the few things cant be controlled is the ageing process and with many women looking to stay younger and fitter the neck lift is becoming more common.

The procedure can not only improve the cosmetic value of your neck area but can also provide obvious changes to self esteem and confidence in the patient.

The procedure simply removes any aged, heavy and tired skin to leave a smoother neck with youthful features. You are advised to answer any questions you may have and to make sure you are knowledgeable about and committed to the procedure. Any form of cosmetic surgery must be thought about prior to any treatment.

Our consultants use all the newest techniques to minimise any scarring and are experienced in this operation.

The aim is to raise and tighten the loose skin around the neck and remove any excess fatty tissue to create the perfect look.

You should expect a period of discomfort and pain after the operation. The consultant will advise on the use of painkillers at this time.

Your neck may be wrapped in bandages and you will stay in the hospital for a period of one or two nights. Your consultant will advise you on the period of time to stay off work and this will usually be around one week with no strenuous exercise for a minimum of eight weeks after.

If you are paying for their own treatment all costs will be discussed and explained prior to any treatment taking place. This will be confirmed in writing along with any surgeon fees, anaesthetist fees and hospital charges prior to admission.
