Urology

Urology is the area of medicine that deals with the treatment of conditions involving the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs.  

Our consultants are trained to deal with the diagnosis and treatment of all disorders relating to this speciality. 

There are a number of disorders that may be treated by a Urologist and these include disorders of the bladder, the kidneys, the urethra and the adrenal glands.

In males there are further disorders that may be treated to include conditions of the testes, prostate and penis.

Urology not only deals with the management of conditions like prostate enlargement and urinary infections but also conditions requiring surgery such as prostate cancer , bladder cancer and kidney stones.
