Homeopathic Medicine
Homeopathy is a medical practice and philosophy based on the idea that the body can be encouraged to heal itself naturally. That is, if something can cause an illness in a healthy person, giving the person a very tiny (homeopathic) amount of the same substance or something similar could be helpful in stimulating the body's normal healing processes (e.g. coffee often causes insomnia but a homeopathic medicine produced from it can have the opposite effect and improve quality and length of sleep).
Homeopathy was discovered in the late 1700’s by the famous German Physician Dr Samuel Hahnemann and is a medical practice that has been recognized by the NHS since 1948, in fact Liverpool had its own NHS Homeopathic Hospital at 42 -56 Hope street for almost 100 years.
The popular treatment is ideal for treating and managing a whole range of common illnesses for all age groups. The great advantage of using a homeopathic medicine is that is it a natural treatment without any side effects. In addition, Homeopathy can often help a broad spectrum of physical & emotional illnesses, often when conventional treatment has not been completely successful.
The most famous advocate of Homeopathic medicine is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and the members of the Royal family, who still retain a Royal Homeopathic Physician to this day.
